Former UFC flyweight Geane Herrera tragically passed away at the age of 33 following a fatal motorcycle accident in Tampa, Florida.

The incident occurred around 10:45 PM on Saturday at the Gandy Bridge, where Herrera reportedly crashed into the back of another vehicle at a high speed.

The impact caused his motorcycle to burst into flames, and Herrera was thrown hundreds of feet, resulting in his death at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed.

Geane Herrera began his mixed martial arts (MMA) career in 2011 with a unanimous decision victory over Andrew Connors at RFC 23.
